You just scheduled a meeting; now what?

Thanks for scheduling time with me!

If this is our first time meeting, and if you use Google Calendar, it’s likely the event isn’t in your calendar yet. But don’t worry!

In an effort to protect users from unwanted content, Google is now more selective about what events are automatically added to calendars. This means that some invitations, particularly via scheduling tools, may require additional confirmation steps.

  1. Check your email for the calendar invitation. If you don’t see it in your inbox, check the “Updates” tab or search for my email: joshua.herzig.marx@gmail.com.
  2. RSVP by clicking “Yes” or “I know the sender”

While you can turn off the spam protection, I don’t recommend it unless you often find yourself missing calendar events.

Questions? Feel free to shoot me an email!
